Chef Mandy is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of Canada in Charlottetown, PEI with Diplomas in both Culinary and Pastry Arts and have Red Seal Certifications in both disciplines.
She also has a Adult Education Teaching Certification from Dalhousie University and have taught cooking classes in PEI and Nova Scotia since 2008.
While attending the Culinary Institute of Canada she was Team Captain of Culinary Youth Team Canada and competed in International cooking competitions in Wales, Scotland, and Michigan, culminating in the Culinary Olympics in Germany.
Chef Mandy has worked in up-scale establishments in Canada, United States, United Kingdom, and China.
Her style of cooking is “Bringing Back the Comforts of Home”. She hopes to spark a memory with each dish that she prepares. She likes my classes to be informal and feel like a gathering of friends...always having good conversations, lots of laughs and food while learning.
